Junior Systems Analyst \| Remote **Salary: Confidential** The amount will be disclosed to candidates who advance in the selection process. Key Responsibilities * Analyze incidents escalated by Tier 1, conducting in-depth technical investigation to confirm threats or rule out complex false positives; * Perform basic adjustments and create exceptions in SIEM detection rules, following established procedures; * Maintain the knowledge base (KB) up to date by documenting new attack scenarios and resolution procedures; * Handle medium-complexity technical support requests, providing evidence and guidance to clients; * Support senior analysts in War Rooms by collecting logs, evidence, and performing operational containment actions; * Accurately log hours spent on support tasks and projects (Timesheet); * Conduct critical analysis of security alerts, proposing improvements and supporting periodic client presentations. Requirements * Technical or undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields; * Intermediate proficiency in SIEM queries (KQL, Lucene, SPL, or similar); * Familiarity with security tools such as Firewalls and EDR; * Basic understanding of Networks and Operating Systems for forensic investigation; * Analytical ability to correlate events and identify incidents. Preferred Qualifications * Intermediate English and/or Spanish for technical reading.
