The professional must proactively collect overdue contracts and negotiate viable solutions that benefit both the company and customers. Additionally, it is essential to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, collaborate with various departments across the organization, and contribute to the continuous improvement of collections processes, thereby safeguarding the organization's financial health. **Responsibilities** * **Active Collections:** Proactively contact customers with overdue payments. * **Debt Negotiation:** Offer feasible payment alternatives and terms suitable for customers. * **Agreement Formalization:** Document agreed-upon debt terms with customers. * **Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Work with other organizational departments to resolve pending issues and improve processes. * **Database Updates:** Keep the customer database consistently updated to facilitate the collections process. **COMPETENCIES** **Technical Competencies** * **Collections Knowledge:** Experience in collections processes and negotiation techniques. * **Data Analysis:** Ability to interpret financial reports and receivables-related KPIs. * **Tool Proficiency:** Familiarity with systems and Excel. * **Legislation and Regulations:** Basic knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to collections and consumer protection. **Personal Competencies** * **Effective Communication:** Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing. * **Empathy:** Capacity to understand and respect customers' circumstances, fostering a friendly negotiation environment. * **Resilience:** Ability to handle pressure and maintain focus on results, even in challenging situations. * **Organization:** Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate, up-to-date records. * **Teamwork:** Willingness to collaborate with various departments and contribute to a positive work environment.
