Job Summary: Senior Litigation Attorney focused on managing judicial and administrative proceedings, providing internal legal consulting, and managing partner law firms. Key Highlights: 1. The Legal Department plays a strategic role, offering technical and advisory support across various areas of law, including regulatory, insurance, civil, labor, tax, and corporate law. It is organized into two main units: Litigation and Corporate. Litigation \- Responsible for managing lawsuits filed against or on behalf of the Company, performs: * Monitoring of proceedings, hearings, and settlements; * Administrative defense in extrajudicial notices and Procon proceedings; * Advisory support in product development, contract clause review, claims regulation, and responses to regulatory bodies. Corporate \- Focused on drafting, reviewing, and validating contracts, ensuring mitigation of legal and regulatory risks. Also provides legal consulting and issues legal opinions to guide strategic decisions. This structure ensures legal security, regulatory alignment, and strategic support for the Company's operations. The Senior Litigation Attorney position presents challenges such as: handling the complexity and volume of judicial and administrative proceedings; safeguarding the Company’s interests while preserving its reputation and customer relationships; staying updated with constant changes in legislation and case law; coordinating external law firms and other internal departments; and efficiently managing time and resources. **Responsibilities and Duties** **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Management and monitoring of judicial and administrative proceedings of any nature. * Assessment and handling of civil, consumer, labor, and regulatory disputes. * Drafting and reviewing extrajudicial notices, statements, defenses, and other legal documents; * Defining legal strategies and providing support for conducting defenses in judicial and administrative proceedings. * Credit recovery activities, including collection lawsuits, monitory actions, and reimbursement portfolios. * Providing legal consulting services to internal departments on civil, consumer, regulatory, labor, and contractual matters. * Interface with and management of law firms and external suppliers, aligning strategies and monitoring work execution. * Monitoring legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments with potential business impact. * Supporting Finance and Audit departments in litigation contingency provisioning. * Participating in meetings with internal departments to align information and defend the Company’s interests. * Assisting in drafting, analyzing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, amendments, terms, and related instruments. **Requirements and Qualifications** **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:** * Experience in judicial proceedings (reviewing pleadings, settlements, and appeal strategies); * Relationship management with partner law firms; * Drafting extrajudicial notices, settlements, and legal opinions; * Experience reporting judicial proceeding reports to partner departments. * Insurance experience will be considered a plus. **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:** * Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB); * Postgraduate degree (specialization or MBA) in Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law, Corporate Law, or Insurance Law. **Additional Information** * SulAmérica Health Insurance * SulAmérica Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Family Funeral Assistance * Medication Reimbursement * Private Pension Plan * Meal and Food Allowance * Transportation Allowance * Christmas Basket * 14th-Month Basket * Extended Maternity Leave: 6 months * Extended Paternity Leave: 20 days * Daycare or Babysitter Assistance * Assistance for Children with Disabilities * On-site Quick Massage (once per week) * On-site Occupational Gymnastics (once per week) * Breakfast * TotalPass * Day Off * Caixa University * Educational Incentive * Profit Sharing At **CAIXA Residencial**, our purpose is to make protection and preventive care accessible to all Brazilian households and their communities.
