Here, you’ll be part of a global, ambitious team building products that truly impact the daily lives of construction professionals. **About the Role** We’re looking for someone with experience in **quantity takeoffs and reading construction drawings**, to serve as an **Estimator** on a new Handoff project. You’ll be responsible for reviewing AI-generated takeoffs — adjusting measurements, adding missing items, and ensuring everything is accurate and ready to be sent to our partners. This is an essential function: you’ll be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and the real-world needs of construction sites. An excellent role for someone with a sharp technical eye who wants to work in an innovative environment. ### **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** * Review and correct automatic takeoffs from construction documents (floor plans, sections, ceiling plans, etc.). * Verify all measurements — quantities, areas, and linear dimensions — to ensure accuracy and constructability. * Add items the system may have missed, such as finishes, doors, windows, and other critical details. * Map items to supplier catalogs, selecting appropriate materials and suggesting alternatives when needed. * Organize and deliver finalized, reviewed estimates ready for integration with other systems. * Manage your own workflow and meet deadlines (SLAs). * Report AI model errors and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve the process. * Help create and refine internal processes, checklists, and quality standards. * Test new tools and provide practical, production-based feedback. ### **Who We’re Looking For** * At least 2 years of experience performing quantity takeoffs or preparing estimates for residential or commercial construction projects. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (architecture, structural, plumbing, electrical, etc.) confidently and with attention to detail. * Experience using tools such as Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, STACK, OST, or similar for measuring and marking up drawings. * Experience meeting defined deadlines (SLAs) or working in high-volume production environments. * Familiarity with material catalogs, including mapping generic items to specific codes. * Ability to provide structured feedback and collaborate effectively with technology teams. * Technical or university degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is a plus. * Intermediate to advanced English, especially for clear and objective reading and writing. ### **What We Offer** * Competitive salary in US dollars (USD) * Unlimited paid time off (PTO) * Relocation assistance, if required * State-of-the-art equipment * Participation in international offsites with the team — we’ve already met in 5 countries! **Ready to talk?** If you want to apply your technical expertise to an AI-powered product transforming the construction market, this role is for you. **Let’s build the future together!**
