Come join our team as a **LABORATORY SUPERVISOR**.
**When working in the Environmental Laboratory:**
* Record results generated in the environmental laboratory;
* Prepare reports and forward them to unit managers;
* Supervise ICP activities;
* Evaluate and request purchases of services and materials;
* Evaluate methods seeking improvements aligned with ABNT standards and Standard Methods;
* Develop operational procedures;
* Monitor equipment calibrations to ensure equipment quality;
* Request and evaluate inter-laboratory samples;
* Archive and control documents and records;
* Close monthly performance indicators (samples received, reports released, number of tests requested per client and per test);
* Analyze and control non-conformities and preventive actions;
* Manage inventory of glassware and reagents, requesting and tracking procurement processes with responsible departments;
* Perform other duties as needed and/or at the supervisor's discretion.
**When working in the Process Laboratory:**
* Supervise process laboratory activities;
* Perform all tasks inherent to the process laboratory;
* Issue test result reports relevant to the laboratory;
* Develop operational procedures;
* Manage equipment calibration and maintenance;
* Request purchases of materials and services;
* Perform other duties as needed and/or at the supervisor's discretion.
**When working in Fire Assay:**
* Supervise shift teams to ensure laboratory processes are carried out with quality;
* Send results to clients (mines, plants, geology);
* Complete and prepare daily production spreadsheets;
* Collect and enter data for cost allocation and monthly reporting;
* Perform quality control of the process (collecting and sending samples to external laboratories);
* Request and manage inventory of reagents used in the process;
* Request purchases of materials and services;
* Request and monitor maintenance services for laboratory equipment, alignment services, and atomic absorption equipment calibration;
* Read and analyze samples;
* Train staff;
* Develop and review standard operating procedures;
* Perform other duties as needed and/or at the supervisor's discretion.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Environmental Science, or Chemical Engineering;
* Brazilian driver’s license (Category B);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
* Solid experience in managing physicochemical analysis laboratories, with emphasis on environmental monitoring, Fire Assay analysis, and process laboratories.
