Follow safety regulations and use PPE correctly **Position: Industrial Painter (Electrostatic Powder Coating)** **Job Description:** Responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing metal parts using the electrostatic powder coating process, ensuring coating quality, adhesion, and uniformity in accordance with company-established standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare metal surfaces through cleaning, degreasing, and/or chemical treatment; * Operate electrostatic powder spray gun to apply material uniformly; * Monitor process parameters such as pressure, spray distance, and coating thickness; * Cure coated parts in an oven, observing appropriate time and temperature; * Perform visual inspection of painted parts to identify defects such as runs, coverage failures, or excess material; * Perform touch-ups and rework as needed; * Keep the workplace clean and organized; * Follow safety regulations and use PPE correctly. **Requirements/Competencies:** * Knowledge of electrostatic powder coating; * Proficiency in handling electrostatic spray guns; * Attention to detail and quality standards; * Basic knowledge of occupational safety; * Prior experience in metallurgical industry is desirable.
