Focus on hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization A nonprofit organization seeks a Cook in Rio de Janeiro (Jacaré). **Responsibilities:** Prepare lunch for the organization's employees. Produce meals for children participating in the project, according to the menu and internal guidelines. Produce solidarity lunchboxes (once per week), including portioning and organizing for distribution. Support the preparation and execution of events and activities involving food at the headquarters. Receive, portion, label, and properly store food items (ensuring expiration dates, appropriate temperatures, and organization). Ensure kitchen cleaning and organization, including utensils, equipment, and stock or pantry. Adhere to hygiene and food safety standards. Collaborate with the team to ensure meal quality. Previous experience as Head Chef, Assistant Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Buffet Cook may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
