* Responsible for ensuring the company's operations comply with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SMS) regulations. Develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures aimed at accident prevention, environmental protection, and promotion of workplace health (SMS pillars of action: Accident Prevention, Emergency Management, and Health and Well-being). Conducts training, investigates incidents, and prepares technical reports, ensuring adoption of best practices and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Emergency Management** * Support implementation of emergency plans, including PEI, PCE, PAM, Area Plan, and Abandonment Plan; * Manage the emergency brigade, firefighting resources, and emergency response structure; * Plan and monitor emergency-related training, drills, and practical exercises; * Support emergency coordinators during training, drills, and actual incidents; * Conduct inspections and monitor maintenance of fire prevention and firefighting equipment. **Accident Prevention** * Implement and monitor legal occupational health and safety programs and applicable requirements; * Keep legal programs and reports up to date, including PGR, LTCAT, AET, PPP, PCA, APR, and other applicable documents; * Support compliance with Regulatory Standards and other applicable legal requirements for the business; * Conduct safety inspections in operational areas, construction sites, maintenance services, and critical activities; * Monitor contractors' compliance with procedures, operational controls, and SMS requirements; * Support investigation of accidents, incidents, deviations, and near-misses, tracking action plans; * Record, process, and track deviations, non-conformities, observations, and improvement opportunities; * Support implementation of preventive and corrective actions related to occupational safety; * Support corporate safety culture and safe behavior programs; * Participate in campaigns, safety dialogues, motivational actions, and engagement initiatives; * Support management of personal protective equipment (PPE), including inventory control and distribution; * Manage and operate the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA); * Conduct occupational hazard and risk assessments and monitor control measures; * Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections; * Support management of legal requirements and compliance with applicable conditions; * Support contractor management programs and SMS performance monitoring; * Draft, review, and implement SMS procedures, instructions, and documents; * Participate in committees, progress meetings, and forums related to SMS; * Support continuous improvement initiatives, critical analysis, and implementation of market best practices. * Plan, control, and monitor internal and external training; * Develop and execute SMS communication plans. **Health and Well-being** * Manage the PCMSO and other occupational health programs; * Control and monitor ASOs, occupational medical examinations, and expiration dates through occupational health systems; * Submit and manage occupational safety and health (OSH) information to e-Social; * Monitor occupational health contracts and suppliers, including analysis and approval of measurement reports; * Conduct health and quality-of-life campaigns; * Identify training needs related to occupational health; * Monitor occupational health indicators and support action plans. **Indicator Management, Integrated Management System (IMS), and Performance** * Consolidate, analyze, and update proactive and reactive SMS indicators; * Prepare management reports, monthly reports, and executive presentations; * Support critical analysis meetings and performance tracking; * Support maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS); * Monitor action plans, audits, and IMS-related follow-ups; * Support ESG initiatives and corporate sustainability-related indicators; * Participate in integrated reporting and performance indicator development. **Administrative and Contract Management** * Perform administrative activities related to the SMS area; * Support budgetary management of the area, including budget and forecast control; * Perform SAP routines, including purchase requisitions, orders, measurements, and receipts; * Manage procurement processes and supplier and contract management; * Control acquisition of SMS-related products and services; * Support annual planning and activity tracking for the area; * Onboard new employees; * Support technical requests from operational and administrative areas. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Preferred education: Engineering, Environmental Management, or undergraduate degrees related to occupational safety and environment; * Preferred postgraduate qualification: Occupational Safety Engineering or SMS-related fields; * Experience and training in IMS certifications; * Language: Intermediate English (fluent English is a plus);
