In this role, you will: Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and traceable data pipelines, with a focus on automation Modernize legacy systems and processes by migrating to cloud-based solutions (AWS) Build and evolve ELT processes focused on performance, governance, and data quality Ensure data quality and consistency in reconciliation processes (data quality) Structure and organize data for consumption by various business areas Support the definition of data models enabling reuse, standardization, and scalability Collaborate closely with business teams (especially finance/accounting) and technology teams Analyze and manage inconsistencies between data sources, contributing to continuous process improvements **Requirements and qualifications** * Solid experience in Data Engineering * Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS) * Lambda * AWS Glue * Step Functions * Amazon S3 * Experience with data processing and transformation (ELT) * Knowledge of data modeling and best practices for structuring * Experience handling large volumes of data with a focus on quality (data quality) **Technologies used by the team:** * AWS (Lambda, Glue, Step Function, S3, EMR) * Data Lake (Iceberg) * Athena and Redshift * Python * SQL * PySpark **Preferred qualifications:** * Prior experience with financial, accounting, or reconciliation data * Experience with data lake environments and modern data architecture * Hybrid work model * On-site: 2 days per week **About the challenge** ------------------- You will work in a strategic area functioning as a validation and quality layer within the bank’s accounting pipeline, ensuring consistency among data from different systems.
