Primary Location: Brazil (BR) \- Sao Paulo \- Indaiatuba Function: Accounting and Finance (CA) Title: PL Accounting Analyst \- 117063 Your Position: **Extended Description** ------------------- As a PL Accounting Analyst assigned to John Deere Bank in Indaiatuba/SP, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring the accounting closing cycle, ensuring the accuracy of journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet and income statement reconciliations. Your focus will be on financial variance analysis and the integrity of closing processes. You will serve as technical support for internal and external audits, and directly address auxiliary and regulatory compliance obligations. You will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal clients to resolve inquiries and optimize accounting processes. You will identify automation opportunities, support process improvement initiatives within the accounting area, and be responsible for developing and updating internal policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Performing the accounting close; * Executing monthly, weekly, and daily accounting journal entries and accruals; * Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts; * Analyzing balance sheet and financial variances; * Reviewing and performing reconciliations (Blackline); * Supporting and preparing documentation for internal and external audits; * Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation; * Supporting accounting-area process improvement projects; * Supporting auxiliary and/or regulatory compliance obligations; * Resolving internal client inquiries; * Developing and updating departmental policies and procedures. **Extended Description** ------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields; * Experience with accounting closing and reconciliations; * Advanced Excel skills for data analysis; * Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week onsite) in Indaiatuba/SP. **Extended Description** ------------------- * Advanced English (broad vocabulary, strong grammar, ability to lead meetings, argue, negotiate, and deliver training); * Experience in reviewing and improving processes; * Experience in a banking environment or with bank accounting; * Active CRC registration.
