Job Summary:
An IT technical support professional responsible for full hardware and software management, incident resolution, system configuration, and information security assurance.

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide remote and on-site technical support, including installation, configuration, customization, and management of computing resources (hardware and software), as well as equipment upgrades and implementation of new systems, versions, releases, and patches.
* Support communication networks and assist users with questions regarding standard market applications and corporate systems.
* Detect and resolve IT equipment issues both reactively and preventively.
* Verify the operational status of IT equipment.
* Support users during in-person meetings, teleconferences, and videoconferences by organizing and configuring required equipment.
* Perform on-site incident resolution, service requests, and technical inspections.
* Assemble network cables and perform basic verification and identification of UTP cabling infrastructure issues.
* Identify and resolve network point and infrastructure issues (LAN, WAN, WLAN) in environments using hubs and switches.
* Implement network resource sharing.
* Install, replace, and substitute IT equipment and defective components supplied by the CONTRACTOR when outside warranty coverage.
* Install, update, and configure security systems (antivirus) and supported operating systems—currently Windows and Chrome OS—as well as any others subsequently adopted.
* Configure and install software on computers, notebooks, and tablets.
* Remove previous system versions, perform formatting, and configure new virtual environments per the CONTRACTOR's specifications.
* Reconfigure existing equipment and software.
* Install and configure workstations, printers, network cards, and update drivers.
* Provide basic support for computers, printers, peripherals, and accessories at assigned locations.
* Replace IT consumables—such as ink cartridges and toner—supplied by the CONTRACTOR.
* Perform data loading, purging, and transfer across storage media.
* Execute information security actions, including backup, data recovery (recover), virus detection, and disinfection of media and files.
* Identify and resolve hardware and software failures and non-conformities, whether in active use or during integration phases.
* Assist Educational Units in identifying, describing, and managing the workflow for opening warranty claims with suppliers.
**Requirements:**
* Completed undergraduate degree.
* Proven experience in remote and on-site IT support.
* Availability to use personal vehicle for travel.
