**About the Role:**
Alcoa has an open opportunity for a Port Operator to join the Alumar unit team in São Luís – MA. You will be responsible for operating industrial mobile equipment and vehicles, demonstrating proficiency in operating all machinery at the Alumar Port while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with operational procedures.
**Other key responsibilities include:**
* Correctly and safely use and identify lifting accessories to perform lifting, hoisting, and cargo handling operations;
* Execute pre\-operational and daily preventive maintenance checklists as specified in the "Operator’s Manual";
* Perform safety checklists prior to any lifting, hoisting, or cargo handling operation;
* Carry out certain preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on cranes when awaiting requests from other departments;
* Operate ship unloaders;
* Lift front-end loaders to place machinery inside ship holds.
**What You Can Bring to This Role:**
* Education: Completed High School;
* Preferred: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
* Requirement: Driver’s License Category B;
* Requirement: Availability to work on a rotating 6x3 shift schedule.
* Strong communication skills, ability to adapt to self\-managed processes and industrial operations, and capability to work effectively in teams.
