Come revolutionize education with us! **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop graphic projects (visual, graphic, and editorial composition) for original materials based on briefings; establish editorial standards for original publications; create customized materials, covers, templates, colophons, and generate barcodes for publications. * Analyze, design, and contribute to developing page content for each publication, evaluating optimal composition per segment to ensure visual appeal; implement corrections requested by editors, pedagogical analysts, and authors to standardize materials and support the design team’s development. * Guarantee and create images/illustrations while adhering to the project’s technical graphic standards, ensuring legibility and readability; develop and apply equations and fractions according to each discipline’s technical standards. * Ensure during production that materials have no pending iconographic, educational technology, or pedagogical issues, thereby guaranteeing smooth progression to subsequent stages. * Produce and deliver workshops and training sessions; foster cross-departmental communication; monitor material design and conceptualization activities; provide support to the editorial production team, resolving questions to ensure material quality and alignment with collection-specific standards. * Analyze technical aspects of files to identify possible adjustments, aiming to release materials compliant with the collection’s editorial specifications and the defined scope. Correct necessary changes, confirm all have been implemented, and verify completion of the production checklist to ensure editorial quality. * Organize files for each publication and release PDFs to the printing facility, ensuring adherence to graphic profiles and naming conventions. * Release digital materials on the platform—edit HTML-based interactive content and generate interactive PDFs (ebooks). * Verify quality and functionality of digital interactivity features; insert banners/watermarks in accordance with file distribution rules. * Process standardization—enter information into the editorial page spreadsheet; create and update editorial manuals and production checklists to control and track each educational material. * **Work model for this position:** * CLT employment; hybrid work (for candidates located in Belo Horizonte and surrounding areas) or fully remote for other locations. * Workload: 44 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Advertising and Public Relations, Editorial Production, or related fields. * Knowledge of art direction. * Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Bridge). * Proficiency in InDesign. * Familiarity with MathType for image handling and creation of simple vector graphics. * Knowledge of graphic production. * Familiarity with internet tools. * Knowledge of the publishing market. **Additional information** Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Meal and food allowance on the same card Breakfast or afternoon snack at physical office locations Transportation allowance Total Pass and Wellhub (access to gyms and wellness services) Birthday day off Corporate University Pregnancy support program Psychological, legal, financial, and social counseling program Wedding gift Duo Gourmet Bernoulli Benefits Club: access to a network of partnerships offering discounts on undergraduate and graduate courses, electricity bills, language courses, and much more—for you and your family Mothers working under hybrid arrangements are entitled to 100% remote work from the 6th month of pregnancy until the child’s first birthday Fathers working under hybrid arrangements are entitled to 100% remote work from the child’s birth until the child’s 6th month Data protection changes everything During our candidate selection process for filling open positions, we will use your personal data registered on the Gupy platform.
