Culture of co-creation and knowledge sharing We are seeking a data architect to collaborate with the engineering team in designing and developing an analytics platform to generate business studies and insights, using modern technologies such as AWS. **Main Responsibilities and Duties:** * Participate in discoveries and/or inceptions, capable of translating business requirements into well-structured technical specifications that synthesize architectural and design decisions, enabling scalable, secure, and resilient systems; * Ability to identify and design solutions that deliver value aligned with customer pain points * Ingest data into analytics environments, transform, harmonize, and specialize datasets to create data products (ETL/ELT) * Detail functional vision and logical design down to the level required for development * Ensure timeliness, quality, and availability of data products * Lead or support architecture decisions (ADR) and reviews (ARB) * Promote continuous improvement to accelerate foundational data solutions and products. * Implement cost-reduction strategies for platforms (FinOps) * Resilience: Do not limit yourself; question, propose, and maintain close collaboration with the team; * \#HandsOnCode: Co-create and/or co-develop digital products, applying the "You build it, you run it!" principle alongside engineering teams * \#TechEvangelist: Disseminate knowledge across teams through trainings, overviews, workshops, etc. * \#TechWriter: Ability to transfer technical knowledge clearly and simply **Required Knowledge:** * Solid experience with AWS. * Data modeling across SOR, SOT, and SPEC layers. * Experience with Python or Java. * Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion, and modeling. * Proficiency with Glue, GDQ, Athena, QuickSight, Hadoop, and Spark \- Experience with relational and non-relational databases \- NoSQL (DynamoDB, DocumentDB, etc.) * DDD (Domain-Driven Design). * Experience with CloudFront, ECS, S3, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, and Lambda. * Messaging and event-based communication tools (SQS and SNS) * Best practices in 12-Factor methodology and SOLID principles * Cloud Native patterns Competencies: Collaboration, Verbal Communication, Performance Orientation, Constructive Indignation, Proactivity, Resilience and Flexibility, Critical Thinking, Simplicity, Teamwork Education: Completed Bachelor's Degree \- Computer Science, Completed Bachelor's Degree \- Information Systems, Completed Bachelor's Degree \- Information Technology Language: English \- Intermediate Technology: Java, AWS Certification: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Itaú is Brazil’s most valuable brand, ranked as the best company to work for by Great Place to Work, and the largest bank in Latin America.
