Join Frete.com and learn more about the challenge within the Engineering team. **Responsibilities and Duties** * We are looking for a Backend developer with solid expertise who genuinely enjoys building solutions that solve real-world problems, prioritizes delivery quality, meets deadlines reliably, and thrives in dynamic environments. * Actively participate in solution design processes. * Provide clear visibility into activity progress for managers and the team, and proactively and promptly seek help when blocked. * Actively participate in code reviews, new software quality test implementations, documentation, performance optimization, and production incident resolution. * Mentor / guide Junior Developers. **Skills and Prerequisites** * Experience with GoLang is a plus; * Experience with object-oriented programming; * Experience developing/integrating REST APIs; * Knowledge of automated testing (unit and integration tests); * Familiarity with software development best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, Code Review) and secure development; * Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases; * Knowledge of PHP (legacy and modern) is a plus; * Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus; * Knowledge of ElasticSearch is a plus; * Knowledge of architecture; * Knowledge of DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud; * Knowledge of Git-based workflows; * Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka); * Knowledge of application performance monitoring.
