Description
A Senior Analyst is responsible for analyzing and processing payment requests for goods, ensuring compliance with policies and eligibility criteria. The role involves validating documents and data, interacting with internal departments and partners, as well as monitoring SLAs and performance indicators. The analyst also contributes to continuous process improvement, focusing on efficiency, reduction of rework, and standardization of activities.
* Analyze payment requests for goods, validating documentation and registration data, as well as bank details required to complete payments, ensuring quality and adherence to compliance rules and internal controls.
* Ensure accurate registration/update of process stages in systems, guaranteeing traceability and auditability.
* Interact with other bank departments, customers, and the Chevrolet dealership network to resolve and reduce documentary pending items.
* Monitor SLAs, prioritize backlog items, and support handling of critical and/or exceptional cases, when applicable.
* Conduct volume and indicator analyses (e.g., approvals/rejections, resubmissions, rework, deadlines), identifying root causes and improvement opportunities.
* Propose and support process improvements, standardizations, and automations (e.g., checklists, controls, reports) aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing rework.
* Support the development and updating of procedures, communications, and guidance materials for the team.
* Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree (Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields).
* Prior experience in operational routines and/or back-office functions, preferably within financial services, consortiums, credit, payments, or registration.
* Experience in document analysis and registration verifications, with attention to detail and ability to make decisions per established procedures.
* Basic knowledge of fraud prevention, Know Your Customer (KYC), and internal controls applicable to payment processes.
* Advantage: Familiarity with consortium products and the Newcon system.
* Strong communication skills for interfacing with various departments, with a focus on problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in presentations, data gathering, and indicator analysis.
* Advantage: Intermediate English for reading materials and occasional interaction, as needed.
