Financial Analyst

Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the company's finances, ensuring financial health and providing strategic information for decision-making. Ø Analyze daily financial activities, including tracking entries made by the billing team; accounts receivable; cash receipts; bank collections and credit card payments; accounts payable processes and payment issuances; bank reconciliations; financial forecasts; actual cash flow; and financial investments; Ø Provide data and prepare the group companies' cash flow statements as needed—weekly, biweekly, or monthly—to plan and allocate the company's financial resources effectively; Ø Monitor and analyze daily bank reconciliation activities to ensure the security of information and executed operations, verifying entries and reports; Ø Analyze monthly closing activities, reviewing management and accounting reports such as the Income Statement (DRE) and General Ledger (Razão), identifying potential inconsistencies and initiating appropriate corrective actions. Upload reports to the BI tool in use and ensure correct information availability to all stakeholders; Ø Issue management reports on the financial performance of serviced units, conducting required analyses upon request from the immediate supervisor; Ø Analyze and monitor delinquent customers, payment deadlines, protest and credit block management, and ensure timely updates to customer records regarding these matters; Ø Analyze and process documents received via e-mail / platform, per instructions from the immediate supervisor or designated personnel; Ø Record documents—including invoices, receipts, posting notices, and others—as per procedures established by the Controller's Office and accounting firm, always following applicable guidance and current legislation; Ø Track, reconcile, and clear customer payments based on documents issued by banks and internal control documents. Ø Analyze and manage invoice and bill issuance and dispatch according to pre-established agreements and contracts informed by customers or the commercial department; analyze the status of collections for group companies and monitor customers in arrears, adhering to pre-established deadlines and Controller's Office procedures, safeguarding commercial relationships and document settlement; Ø Perform other related duties as required by the department and under the direction of the immediate supervisor. * Cash flow analysis and control. * Preparation of financial reports and projections. * Monitoring of financial performance indicators. * Investment and financing analysis.
