Job Summary: This professional will be responsible for ensuring cylinder availability and performing maintenance and operation of equipment in the grinding area. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on occupational safety and preventive/corrective maintenance Job Overview: **Area: Grinding** **Summary of Key Job Responsibilities:** * Ensure availability of working and backup cylinders mounted for rolling mills, in accordance with established operational procedures. * Operate overhead cranes, hoists, tractors, and forklifts for assembly, disassembly, and transportation of cylinders and bearings, in accordance with established procedures. * Identify and support corrective and preventive maintenance activities on working and backup bearings, in accordance with established procedures. * Comply with Occupational Safety procedures by participating in corporate lectures and training sessions, using appropriate PPE, and handling loads and equipment properly, among other requirements. * Maintain housekeeping in the work area by cleaning and organizing the workplace. * Perform cleaning, assembly, and disassembly of bearings for rolling cylinders. * Identify and resolve leaks detected during bearing inspection, assembly, and disassembly. Responsibilities and Qualifications: **Education:** * Completed high school; * Overhead Crane and Forklift Operator certification; * Additional training in Mechanical Maintenance or related fields. **Knowledge and/or Experience:** * Knowledge of mechanics and technical drawing interpretation; * Basic knowledge of hydraulics; * Basic knowledge of metrology; * Basic knowledge of rotating components (bearings). *Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) interested in this opportunity must attach their medical certificate during registration.* Location Profile: We are the world's leading company in aluminum rolled products and recycling.
