Ensure sustainable category performance through strategic management of product mix, pricing, supply, and shelf placement—aiming to maximize sales, profitability, and inventory turnover, while aligning decisions with customer behavior and corporate commercial guidelines. Manage a broad portfolio efficiently and effectively Balance **sales, margin, and inventory turnover** simultaneously Reduce stockouts without generating excess inventory Quickly identify underperforming products and take action Adapt product mix according to seasonality (e.g., construction, renovations, weather) Support stores with operationally applicable commercial strategies Work with data that is often decentralized or unstructured Influence departments such as Procurement, Commercial, and Operations without direct hierarchical authority Portfolio under management: SKUs defined (directly or indirectly) Collaboration with departments: Procurement, Commercial, Logistics, Marketing, and Store Operations Direct impact on KPIs such as: Revenue, Margin, Inventory Turnover, Stockouts, Inventory Coverage Strategic and analytical involvement with direct impact on company performance Analyze category performance (sales, margin, turnover, coverage) Define and review the **optimal product mix** per category and/or store Identify opportunities for SKU addition and removal Support the definition of **pricing strategies** Monitor and act to reduce stockouts and inventory overages Propose data-driven promotional actions Collaborate with the Procurement team on portfolio negotiation and composition Evaluate supplier- and product-level performance Support planogram development and product placement Develop management reports and monitoring dashboards Track market trends and consumer behavior Ensure alignment between commercial strategy and in-store execution
