Join Onset! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and maintain native PHP applications running on IIS, integrated with SQL Server and other internal systems; * Implement, evolve, and support RESTful APIs and SOAP services, ensuring security, performance, and quality of internal integrations; * Analyze technical and business requirements, propose viable solutions, and break them down into development tasks; * Model and optimize relational databases (SQL Server), including queries, stored procedures, and functions; * Ensure code quality by applying best practices, development standards, code reviews, and testing; * Collaborate with analysts, architects, and business areas in specifying requirements and integrating systems; * Author and update technical documentation for services, integrations, routines, and developed components; * Perform production incident analysis and resolution, identifying root causes and proposing permanent improvements; **Requirements and Qualifications** **Knowledge:** * Solid experience in software development using PHP 7\.4\+ (native PHP) in production environments; * Experience in relational database modeling, with focus on SQL Server; * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) — principles, workflow management, and ceremonies; * Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs, including endpoint modeling, versioning, authentication/authorization, error handling, performance, and security best practices; * Experience developing and consuming SOAP services, including contract definition (WSDL), integration with legacy systems, error handling, performance, and security best practices; * Strong understanding of web development, including HTTP/HTTPS, cookies, sessions, CORS, best practices, privacy, and security. Specific Knowledge * Proficiency in PHP 7\.4\+ (native), object-oriented programming, array manipulation, sessions, error/exception handling, and code organization best practices; * HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript at a level sufficient for maintaining and evolving web interfaces; * Experience accessing SQL Server databases via; **Desirable** * Experience with version control using Git (branching, pull requests, code review); * Experience developing PHP applications running on IIS, including site and application pool configuration, FastCGI, URL Rewrite, permissions, logging, and troubleshooting;  **Differentiators:** * Experience in critical and complex system environments (high availability, large data volumes, multiple integrations); * Experience with Java for understanding, integration, or maintenance of legacy services; * Knowledge and experience using AI in the software development lifecycle (AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.); * Experience integrating AI into applications, such as AI agents, internal chatbots/assistants, automated document generation, and intelligent features supporting continuous application evolution; * Familiarity with AI-powered no-code/low-code platforms will be considered a plus; * Knowledge of Docker or other container technologies for standardizing development environments; * Experience with React Native for developing mobile applications integrated with peripherals (biometric/fingerprint scanners, signature pads, etc.); * Experience with automated testing in PHP; **Additional Information** Contract Type: PJ (Individual Contractor) Location: São José dos Campos Working Hours: Business hours, Monday through Friday On-site Availability: Subject to occasional weekend, holiday, or *go-live* and *deployment* shift coverage.
