**Vice Presidency: Information Technology** **Work Location: Remote** **Directorate: Data and Artificial Intelligence** **Responsibilities and Assignments** We are seeking a **Software Engineering Consultant** to strategically contribute to our AI Engineering Platform structure. This professional will serve as the technical reference for the evolution of APIs, SDKs, and critical AI services at Vivo, acting as a facilitator between business vision, corporate architecture, and technical execution. ### **Strategic Responsibilities** * **Define the technical vision and development standards** for APIs, SDKs, and AI platform services. * **Lead the architecture of complex solutions**, ensuring that orchestration of AI agents and services is scalable and resilient at the enterprise level. * **Act as a technical advisor** to leadership and squads, supporting decision-making on emerging technologies and cloud-native infrastructure. * **Champion engineering best practices** (Clean Code, Design Patterns, Security) and a quality culture across the entire Data & AI Directorate. * **Design and optimize technical governance**, ensuring distributed systems meet rigorous observability and security requirements. * **Identify and mitigate structural technical risks** before they impact operations or the AI product roadmap. **Requirements and Qualifications** ### **Technical Requirements (Expert Level)** * **Proven track record** in backend development with **Node.js and Nest.js** in high-criticality environments. * **Expertise in distributed systems architecture** and microservices patterns (Event-driven, Saga, CQRS). * **Deep proficiency in Cloud ecosystems** (preferably **Azure**: AKS, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Redis, MongoAtlas). * **Advanced experience with modern infrastructure**: Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, and complex traffic management. * **Mastery of communication protocols**: REST APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, SSE, and asynchronous messaging. * **Experience with Security and Governance**: Implementation of OAuth 2.0, mTLS, and advanced identity/credential management. * **Solid knowledge of DevOps and IaC**: Terraform, Ansible, and automation of complex CI/CD pipelines. ### **Strategic Differentiators** * Experience in R&D or implementation of **AI Agent Architectures** (LangChain, LangGraph). * In-depth knowledge of **Large Language Models (LLMs)** and cost/performance optimization techniques (RAG, Fine-tuning). * History of contributions to Open Source projects or active participation in technical communities as a speaker/author. ### **Expected Profile** * **Systems Thinking:** Ability to look beyond code and understand the impact of technology on Vivo’s business. * **Influence and Mentoring:** Skill to guide Senior and Mid-level engineers, elevating the team’s technical bar. * **Executive Communication:** Clarity to translate complex technical challenges for non-technical stakeholders. * **Critical Thinking:** Questioning the *status quo* and proposing innovations that drive operational efficiency. **Additional Information** At Vivo, we spare no effort in supporting and valuing our employees.
