Construction Budgeting Intern
Must hold a Technical or Technologist degree in Building Construction or Electrical Engineering; must have completed a specific CAD course. Responsibilities include assisting in quantity takeoffs (Civil, Electrical, Hydraulic, HVAC, Voice Data, Telephony, CCTV, Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems), completing spreadsheets and air-conditioning reports, preparing photographic reports, assisting in price and material/service budget collection, assisting in organizing technical documents, reports, and quotations, assisting in field technical inspections (e.g., service scopes, measurements, project scopes), assisting in compiling direct and indirect costs, basic knowledge of reading and interpreting Civil, Hydraulic, Voice/Data, Telephony, CCTV, Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems, Structural and Foundation, and Steel Frame drawings, familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, performing minor AutoCAD detailing, understanding various types of budgets, comparing quantities and costs among suppliers, and executing purchases of materials and services under the guidance and approval of managers.
Internship stipend: R$1.800,00. Benefits: Meal voucher/food allowance of R$31.80 per day and transportation voucher of R$21.00 per day.
Internship schedule: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Internship location: Cambuci – Central Zone of São Paulo–SP.
