Job Summary: We are seeking a Cook and Kitchen Assistant to prepare and cook dishes, and perform cleaning and organization tasks, with emphasis on teamwork and proactivity. Key Highlights: 1. Requires punctuality, proactivity, and sense of urgency * Cook: Preparation of dishes, salads, and sandwiches, adhering to quality standards and time requirements. * Kitchen Assistant: General assistance to cooks, cleaning of utensils, food production, portioning, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. * PUNCTUALITY, sense of urgency, excellent teamwork, proactivity, availability, and courtesy are minimum requirements for strong performance at Mahai. * Job details: Salary + commission (starting after the first 15 days) + meal allowance/food voucher + overtime pay + night shift allowance + benefits. * Work schedule: 5x2 rotation — 44 weekly hours distributed over 5 days, with 2 weekly days off according to the schedule, including one Sunday per month; female employees alternate Sundays off. * Working hours: 4 days of 9 hours + 2-hour break / 1 day of 8 hours + 1-hour break / 2 weekly days off. Mahai unit at Praia do Canto, Aleixo Neto 577, near Celga and BH Supermarket in Santa Lúcia.
