Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for computer program development, testing, and maintenance, using requirement gathering and system analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Computer program development, testing, and maintenance 2. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS 3. Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multifunctional Technical Registration (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and land cover, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are looking for a Junior Programmer to be responsible for computer program development, testing, and maintenance, supported by requirement gathering and system analysis conducted by systems analysts. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Familiarity with APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to continuously acquire new knowledge.
