Job Summary: Technical professional responsible for operating and monitoring industrial and sanitary wastewater and water treatment processes, ensuring quality and environmental compliance. Maintenance and monitoring of equipment at treatment plants Description: * Completed Technical High School in Environmental Science or Chemistry. * Availability to work on rotating or shift schedules. * NR 35 \- Certified for work at heights. * Operation of wastewater and drinking water treatment plants. * Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics. * Basic/Intermediate Microsoft Office package. * Operate industrial and sanitary wastewater treatment processes, including preparation of chemical solutions, physicochemical analyses, inspection of electrical panels, corrective maintenance of piping systems, technical assistance to mechanics during pump maintenance, chemical inventory control, and completion of reporting spreadsheets for regulatory agencies. * Operate drinking water and industrial water treatment processes, including monitoring backwash cycles for sand, carbon, and zeolite filters, regeneration of ion-exchange softeners, timely replacement of filter elements, and analyses of chlorine, hardness, and iron. * Support the environmental department in preparing waste manifests and overseeing waste collection at the manufacturing facility. * Inspect and operate equipment at water and wastewater treatment plants, request equipment maintenance, follow operational procedures, perform valve operations, and carry out other tasks inherent to the specialty to ensure treatment process quality. * Maintain an organized workplace. * Work in accordance with technical and quality standards, as well as safety, hygiene, health, and environmental protection procedures. * Assist in operating equipment at wastewater treatment plants. * Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks. * Collect wastewater samples for analysis. * Record operational data and information as instructed. 2512280202491030515
