Working with drawings and technical specifications A refrigeration and building maintenance company seeks a Woodworking Assistant in Rio de Janeiro (Downtown). **Responsibilities:** Assist in analyzing the part to be manufactured by consulting drawings, models, specifications, or other instructions. Assist in woodworking tasks such as marking, cutting, turning, and carving using appropriate tools and machinery. Assemble processed wooden components by fitting and securing them with suitable materials. Paint, varnish, or wax manufactured parts and furniture. Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and other fittings onto assembled parts and furniture. Sharpen cutting tools and perform periodic maintenance on machinery. Assist in executing other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment. Previous experience as a Carpenter Assistant, Furniture Assembler, Carpentry Helper, or Woodworking Machine Operator may indicate suitability for some of the activities in this position. Completed elementary education required.
