Prepare materials and tools for the carpenter. Help assemble furniture and structures. Load, unload, and organize materials. Assist in measuring and marking components. Support finishing tasks such as sanding and cleaning components. Keep the workplace clean and organized. Take care of tools and equipment. Follow the carpenter’s instructions and safety regulations. Previous experience as a Carpentry Assistant, Woodworking Assistant, Furniture Assembler, or Wood Machine Operator may indicate suitability for some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
