Respond to requests from the Hospitality Service Center **\#OurWayRedefinesStories** **About the Opportunity: LAUNDRY PROCESSING ASSISTANT** Responsible for collecting, controlling the washing process, and delivering linens and textiles to hospital units, following predefined routines to meet hygiene standards and ensure customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Collect soiled linens and textiles from each unit’s dirty linen collection areas, verifying box contents against control sheets to initiate the cleaning process. * Weigh properly packaged soiled linens and textiles before sending them to the outsourced laundry facility, and also weigh them upon receipt, keeping the incoming and outgoing linen and textile control sheet up to date. * Deliver clean linens and textiles to clinical units, arranging them on carts to preserve organization during transport. * Maintain the functional vehicle in good working condition, reporting any issues to the maintenance department for necessary repairs. * Keep the workplace clean, sanitized, and organized to comply with hospital safety standards. * Collaborate with the Laundry Analyst to inspect certain batches of received linens and textiles to assess service quality provided by suppliers. * Complete the service checklist according to work instructions. * Respond to requests from the Hospitality Service Center by delivering hospital linens to designated areas to serve patients and/or companions. * Count linens and textiles within the assigned area, assisting the immediate supervisor in updating the inventory for stock control purposes. * Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the role and request replacements as per established procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Basic Education: Completed Elementary School. * Preferred Education: High school currently in progress or completed. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** * 7:00 AM \- 3:20 PM **Shift Pattern:** * 6 days on, 1 day off **Benefits:** * Transportation Allowance; * Employee Restaurant, offering meals on-site; * Moinhos Health Plan, extendable to legal dependents, with no monthly premium for the employee; * Dental Plan, also extendable to legal dependents; * Moinhos Full Health Program, providing access to a multidisciplinary team including family physicians, psychologists, and nutritionists, promoting comprehensive health care; * Pet Health Plan; * Pharmacy Benefit; * Life Insurance; * TotalPass; * Employee House, an exclusive space offering wellness, support, and quality-of-life initiatives; * Birthday Day Off; * Daycare Assistance, subject to availability of slots; * Challenge Program, featuring initiatives that encourage employee development and engagement; * Celebratory and recognition activities throughout the year, such as birthday gifts, employee barbecues, Family Day, Christmas gifts, and Jubilee Ceremonies.
