Headquartered in Chicago, we develop, own, and operate large scale projects that power communities and support the energy future. **Job Description** As a Wind Tech 3, you will join the team responsible for wind turbine maintenance. This position reports to the Site Coordinator of the plant. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety, environmental, and maintenance engineering requirements. * Ensure maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with procedures and technical manuals. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GE 1\.X wind turbines. * Conduct borescopes on gearboxes and main bearings of wind turbines. * Assist in managing the spare parts warehouse. **REQUIRED SKILLS** * Technical secondary education in electrotechnology or electromechanics, with active CFT registration. * Two years of experience as an O\&M Technician on GE 1\.X wind turbines. * Proficiency in wind turbine climbing rules. * Proficiency in corrective electrical maintenance \- Converter, Yaw, and Pitch systems. * Proficiency in generator alignment \- GE 1\.X. * Proficiency in WindScada and GE Toolbox. * Proficiency in using measurement instruments. * Must be able to work outdoors under adverse weather conditions and climb ladders without assistance. * Brazilian National Driver’s License \- CNH B. * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. **PREFERRED SKILLS** * Strong knowledge of high-altitude rescue procedures. * Experience conducting gearbox and main bearing borescopes. * Intermediate level of English, both verbal and written.
