Headquartered in Chicago, we develop, own, and operate large scale projects that power communities and support the energy future. **Job Description** As a Wind Tech 2, you will join the team responsible for wind turbine maintenance. This position reports to the Site Coordinator of the plant. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety, environmental, and maintenance engineering requirements. * Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with technical procedures and manuals. * Perform preventive maintenance on GE 1\.X wind turbines. * Assist in controlling the spare parts inventory. **REQUIRED SKILLS** * Technical high school diploma in electrotechnology, electromechanics, or mechanics, with active CFT registration. * 2 years of experience as an O\&M Technician for GE 1\.X wind turbines. * Proficiency in ladder climbing rules associated with wind turbines. * Proficiency in torque tools – torque wrenches, torque keys, torque multipliers, etc. * Proficiency in generator alignment – GE 1\.X wind turbines. * Proficiency in preventive maintenance – GE 1\.X wind turbines. * Good knowledge of electrical measurement instruments. * Must be capable of working outdoors under adverse weather conditions and climbing stairs unassisted. * Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH) Class B. * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. * Intermediate level of English, both verbal and written. **PREFERRED SKILLS** * Strong knowledge of height rescue procedures. * Experience performing gearbox and main bearing borescopes.
