Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient transportation and storage of materials. Key Highlights: 1. Operating forklifts safely for loading and unloading materials 2. Organizing and verifying materials to optimize inventory 3. Performing preventive maintenance on forklifts and reporting incidents The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment, transporting and storing materials safely and efficiently. This professional must have experience operating forklifts, knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to maneuver equipment in confined spaces. * Operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials, following work instructions and safety regulations * Transport materials to storage locations, organizing inventory appropriately * Verify materials, checking quantity and quality of items handled * Maintain forklifts in good working condition by performing daily inspections and reporting any issues * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workplace, contributing to a safe and productive environment * Report any incidents or irregularities to the immediate supervisor, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution * Collaborate with the logistics team and other departments, working integrally to achieve established goals and objectives * Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and forklift operation skills REQUIREMENTS: Experience in this role. Experience operating Combilift forklifts is desirable. EDUCATION: Completed elementary school. High school completion is desirable.
