Job Summary: Coordinate, plan, implement, and monitor occupational health programs, providing outpatient care and conducting educational and preventive activities. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in work processes Education Completed higher education in Medicine, with registration in the respective medical council. Postgraduate degree in Occupational Medicine, with Specialist Qualification Registration (RQE). Experience Mandatory experience in the role of occupational physician; experience with administrative routines and computerized systems. Knowledge Comprehensive health; Occupational Health Responsibilities Attend to and advise internal and external clients and suppliers. Coordinate, plan, implement, guide, and monitor the PCMSO (Occupational Medical Control and Health Program) for all units and/or client organizations. Implement standards, procedures, and policies related to Occupational Health and Safety programs and activities. Issue reports, technical opinions, expert assessments, correspondence, texts, and documents within the scope of practice. Provide outpatient and emergency care and follow up on treatment of occupational diseases and work-related accidents. Prescribe medications, request occupational and complementary examinations, issue medical certificates, provide guidance, and refer employees for specific treatments according to applicable regulations, legislation, and established procedures. Develop educational and preventive activities in the field of health and in the organization’s multidisciplinary projects. Conduct periodic inspections of organizational facilities together with other professionals to assess hygiene conditions and correct potential issues. Prepare and deliver training programs related to the area of expertise and/or integrated programs. Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of planning and budgeting processes for the department. Participate—within multidisciplinary teams—in the formulation, development, execution, and evaluation of plans and projects related to the department and/or integrated initiatives. Represent the organization in matters concerning occupational health and safety before official agencies. Manage inventory of departmental materials. Guide and supervise other professionals within the department. Lead work processes within the department and/or integrated initiatives.
