We are seeking an energetic and operationally excellent **FLV Team Leader** to conduct our produce department. You will be responsible for ensuring our products remain consistently fresh, visually appealing, and that the department operates with maximum efficiency and minimal waste. If you thrive in retail environments and take pride in maintaining an impeccable department, this role is for you! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Team Management and Leadership:** Lead, train, and motivate the FLV team, assign tasks, and ensure excellence in executing daily routines (organization, display, cleaning). **Quality Control and Display:** Ensure proper **receiving and quality inspection** of products. Coordinate **restocking and merchandising**, guaranteeing visual appeal, freshness, and correct item rotation. **Inventory and Loss Management:** Conduct **rigorous inventory control**, monitoring shelf life and quality to **minimize losses (shrinkage)**. Coordinate proper disposal and systematic recording of damaged goods. **Ordering and Receiving:** Prepare and submit FLV purchase orders based on historical sales, seasonality, and demand forecasting. Supervise receiving, weighing, and **correct placement** of products in the cold room. **Food Safety and Hygiene:** Ensure full **compliance with Food Safety standards** and hygiene practices, overseeing cleaning of counters, cold rooms, and utensils. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed High School. Preferred: Technical courses or specialization in Perishables or Retail. **Experience:** Proven experience in leadership or team management roles within the **FLV department** of supermarkets, wholesale stores, or food retail. **Technical Knowledge:** Solid expertise in **identifying quality of fruits and vegetables**, display techniques (*merchandising*), and shrinkage/loss control. **Management Skills:** Ability to manage sales targets, profit margins, and inventory control for perishable goods. **Availability:** Full schedule availability, including weekends and holidays, due to the nature of retail.
