Maintenance Manager
Based in Barcelona, we are looking for an experienced **Maintenance Manager** to lead and coordinate all aspects related to the maintenance management of Gestamp ESMAR Plant’s production and non-production facilities, ensuring optimal performance of its production activities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design the General Maintenance Plan (Predictive, Preventive, and Corrective) for production and non-production facilities and conduct daily monitoring thereof.
* Respond to production demands and carry out appropriate corrective actions, including their follow-up and control.
* Design and supervise the training plan for personnel under supervision.
* Implement and update the technical documentation archive covering all areas under responsibility.
* Identify components requiring spare parts procurement.
* Monitor and coordinate outsourced maintenance work performed by external companies.
* Contribute to improving the company’s production processes and facilities.
* Collaborate with heads of other departments within the Industrial Area. Ensure that backups of all industrial equipment at the plant are executed and verified periodically, guaranteeing their availability for restoration in case of failures, incidents, or maintenance.
Knowledge and Education:
* University degree in Engineering (Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, or Automation). A Master’s degree in Industrial Maintenance is valued.
* Knowledge of MIG/MAG arc welding equipment, spot welding machines, robots, presses, laser cutting systems, conveyors, and tooling.
* Advanced English proficiency is valued.
Other Requirements:
* Strong computer skills: Office suite and internet environments.
* Negotiation and conflict management skills.
* Team management, customer orientation, and results orientation.
* SAP knowledge is valued.
Work Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years’ prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive sector.
