Responsibilities: **The Opportunity** * Lead the Petrolina unit’s Quality Control team to ensure compliance with product specifications and food safety criteria, aiming for consumer satisfaction; * Ensure quality programs are conducted with a consumer focus and in alignment with PepsiCo values; * Ensure compliance with legal requirements; * Ensure implementation of global and Latin America policies, manuals, and procedures across all unit operations; \- Ensure implementation and maintenance of the Quality Culture \- Compliance with Product Specifications, Food Safety Requirements, and Consumer Satisfaction; **Your Impact** * Coordinate and develop the unit’s Quality Control and Microbiology teams * Implement and support development of quality strategies established with the Senior Quality Manager; * Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans for projects, changes, and innovations; * Coordinate the unit’s Food Safety team; * Critically analyze results from product Quality Control programs (internal and external), correlating them with manufacturing programs, continuous improvement/technical area, and maintenance. * Ensure compliance with internal procedures, manuals, and policies * Identify investment needs impacting product quality (scope description and CAPEX execution monitoring with Engineering). Make decisions / Provide consultation * Report Quality and Food Safety indicators and status to local and regional leaders; * Coordinate and execute internal audit programs, identify improvement needs in interface areas, and sustain continuous system improvement; * Maintain certifications Qualifications: **Who We’re Looking For?** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Food Science, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or related fields; * Solid experience in the food industry; * Knowledge of food safety and quality control programs. * Sense of urgency and accountability, strong influencing ability, systemic vision * Initiative, creativity, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication. * Aptitude for planning and control, organization, and attention to detail. * Team management experience. * Intermediate Spanish and English (desirable).
