Preventive and corrective equipment maintenance **Job Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** Rotating shift \- Flexible availability **Level:** Not specified **Employment Type:** Permanent \- CLT * Operate computerized systems that monitor the operation of machines, equipment, and field instruments, verifying equipment functionality to ensure productivity, quality, and safety. * Execute production process control within their assigned area. * Assist in production process control by dosing chemical inputs, operating equipment, pumps, and other process units. * Adjust equipment to match production requirements, monitoring maintenance activities on machines and equipment. * Operate the industry's control system via computers. * Operate equipment such as pumps, fermenters, heat exchangers, redlers, and other equipment within the department. * Assist in analyzing and preparing occurrence logs, equipment downtime reports, production reports, and quality reports to identify deviations from production standards and implement appropriate corrective actions. * Interpret production orders, change programs, and adjust machine and process parameters. * Communicate information to other team members—both those on the same shift and others—verbally and in writing. * Ensure completion of all stipulated production tasks. * Cover for Senior COI Operators when necessary. * Identify causes of equipment malfunction and promptly arrange required repairs. * Assess the condition of machines, equipment, components, and tools used in production, reporting issues to maintain planned productivity. * Contribute ideas for new operational methodologies and procedures to enhance production effectiveness and improvement. * Measure chemical dosages and collect samples, if required. * Read process parameters and enter data into established checklists, reports, and forms. * Monitor quality, sanitation, and process parameters, including performing physicochemical analyses. * Clean and maintain parts, tools, and equipment used, ensuring correct usage. * Perform equipment repairs during scheduled shutdowns designated for this purpose. * Assist in corrective maintenance of industrial machines, motors, and equipment, supporting mechanics in assembly and disassembly tasks. * Perform cleaning and organization of work areas. * Carry out tasks of equivalent complexity upon request from immediate supervisor. * Perform job duties while strictly adhering to all organizational safety, health, and environmental work regulations, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and department. Responsible for immediately informing the immediate supervisor of any activity posing a risk to their own or colleagues' health and safety. * Perform duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information. * Maintain discipline under the 5S program, aiming for safe work through workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness. * Safeguard company property under their responsibility, reporting any problems or damage detected to their immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Completed High School education * EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD IS DESIRABLE * Additional Information \- Salary: BRL 3005.51 \+30% * Affirmative Action Position \- Available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD).
