**Description:**
Technical course in Automation / Instrumentation or related fields
Knowledge of frequency inverters and soft starters
Advanced knowledge of PLCs
Intermediate Office software package
Equipment lockout system
Electrical control
Maintenance of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical installations
Maintenance of instrumentation equipment
Knowledge of communication networks
Install compressed air networks and electrical installations;
Perform tests on instruments and electrical/electronic devices during off-season periods;
Conduct inspections and adjustments on all industrial sector equipment;
Monitor the entire production process to identify any system anomalies, prepare work order reports, and take appropriate corrective actions;
Prepare executed work order reports, documenting corrective actions taken to resolve identified issues, and submit them to the immediate supervisor;
Test temperature, pressure, and level transmitters, analyzing calibration ranges to either return them to service or send them for maintenance, thereby ensuring equipment functionality during production;
Perform maintenance on pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, and electronic valves, pistons, and positioners—disassembling, inspecting components, calibrating, and testing—to return them to operation;
Perform maintenance on safety valves up to 150 psi, including disassembly, sandblasting, painting, inspection of gaskets and bushings, wear assessment, and lapping, ensuring safe operation of high-pressure equipment;
Daily monitoring of pneumatic and electronic equipment operation to detect failures and perform preventive maintenance, thereby avoiding production interruptions;
Annual maintenance of sugar bagging scales, involving disassembly and adjustments to ensure functionality during production periods;
Perform maintenance on pistons—disassembling, lubricating, cleaning, replacing parts, and conducting functional tests—prior to reinstallation;
Support panel installation and wiring connections, performing adjustments and tests to ensure equipment readiness for use;
Manually assist in maintaining electro-pneumatic sugar bagging scales—identifying irregularities, replacing parts, and adjusting—ensuring readiness only during production periods;
Carry out job responsibilities strictly adhering to all organizational safety, health, and environmental work standards and procedures, and consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the role and department; promptly reporting to the immediate supervisor any activity posing a risk to one’s own or colleagues’ health;
Perform duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and safeguarding company information confidentiality and security;
Maintain discipline under the 5S program, aiming for a safe workplace through organization, standardization, and cleanliness;
Safeguard company property under one’s responsibility and promptly report any problems or damage detected to the immediate supervisor.
