I am supporting a company operating in the distribution sector in its recruitment process for a LOGISTICS COORDINATOR * Plan, coordinate, and supervise all logistics operations, from receiving to final product delivery. * Ensure on-time delivery and food integrity throughout warehousing and transportation processes. * Manage inventory and ensure accuracy by applying practices such as FIFO and FEFO to maintain product shelf life. * Supervise routing, dispatch, and transportation, optimizing resources and reducing operational costs. * Coordinate and develop the operational team (warehouse staff, drivers, assistants, and verifiers), promoting engagement and efficiency. * Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and good food handling and transportation practices. * Conduct periodic inventories, track discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. * Prepare management reports and provide strategic information to senior leadership regarding performance and operational needs. * Propose and implement continuous improvements in logistics processes, focusing on productivity, quality, and waste reduction. Requirements * Experience in coordinating logistics operations, inventory, transportation, and food distribution. * Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems, shelf-life control (FIFO/FEFO), and performance indicators (KPIs). * Experience with good warehousing practices, sanitary regulations, and fleet management. * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills and basic Power BI knowledge (preferred). * Leadership, organization, agility, results orientation, and strong communication skills.
