Job Summary: The Logistics Assistant will handle invoicing, material control, returns, stock adjustments, and freight/transportation management to optimize processes. Key Highlights: 1. We are seeking a **Logistics Assistant** to work at our Distribution Center (DC\- SERRA). Here, you will handle **invoicing and material control**, **returns and stock adjustments**, as well as **freight/transportation management** (pickups, freight rate tables, charge verification, and payment). You will also conduct **supplier inventories** and update system data. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Responsibilities** * Execute routine **invoicing** tasks, ensuring deadlines, optimization, and compliance with legislation. * **Generate delivery orders**, request material picking, issue **PENF** to the tax department, and verify alignment between invoicing and materials. * Perform **returns, stock incorporations, and stock adjustments**, accurately reporting anomalies to relevant departments. * Maintain contact with suppliers and, when necessary, **schedule meetings** to ensure delivery timelines and merchandise returns. * Manage **transportation and freight**, contributing to expense control and adherence to procedures. * Request **pickups based on cargo volume** and consult/verify **current freight rate tables**. * Keep the **material flow at suppliers** updated, aiming to optimize storage and product identification. * Verify **freight charges and discrepancy letters**, identifying improper charges and arranging corrections. * Process **freight payments**, specifying cost centers and requesting issuance of **DUP**. * Maintain **organization of area data, systems, and documents**, following established procedures. * Conduct **supplier inventories** and update/enter information into the system. * Generate **supplier stock/order reports**, verifying industrialization status, full/partial returns, or losses based on technical lists. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education * Prior experience in this role is a plus * Intermediate Excel skills * SAP: Preferred **Additional Information** * Location: 100% on-site at TIMS \- Carapina Serra/ES * Meal Voucher * Performance-based Bonus * Totalpass * Open English * Medical Assistance For over 100 years, **Linhas Corrente** has been manufacturing textile solutions for the industry and inspiring creativity through craftsmanship, making it one of the world’s oldest and most traditional companies.
