Job Summary: Responsible for interpreting technical drawings, manufacturing and assembling metal parts and structures, operating machinery, and ensuring safety. Key Highlights: 1. Manufacturing and assembly of metal structures and boiler equipment 2. Use of torches and operation of overhead cranes and rotating machinery 3. Compliance with safety and quality standards, and teamwork **Responsibilities** --------------------- Interpret technical drawings for fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal parts and structures. Inspect, mark out, cut, and assemble various boiler equipment according to drawings; fabricate auxiliary parts and verify squareness of components. Select and mark out materials; perform cutting, bending, and shaping. Perform tack welding of parts when necessary using a torch. Identify and repair damage, and install structures at the site of use. Work in compliance with technical and safety standards, use PPE, maintain an organized work environment, and collaborate with other teams to support project planning and execution. Operate overhead cranes and rotating machinery as required to carry out assigned tasks. Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness. Follow quality, environmental, health, and occupational safety procedures. **Requirements** -------------- Experience interpreting technical drawings for manufacturing and assembling metal parts and structures. Knowledge of marking out, cutting, bending, and shaping metallic materials. Experience assembling boiler equipment from technical drawings. Knowledge of using torches for tack welding parts. Experience identifying and repairing damage to metal structures. Ability to operate overhead cranes and rotating machinery as required. Knowledge of technical and occupational safety standards.
