We are seeking a JUNIOR ACCESSORIES ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN to assist in the preparation and assembly of accessories for flexible pipes and umbilical cables, following technical and safety standards.

Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a JUNIOR ACCESSORIES ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN to join our team. Based in Cariacica City, reporting to the Supervisor, you will assist in preparing and assembling accessories for flexible pipes, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and power umbilical cables, guided by drawings, schematics, and technical specifications, using appropriate tools, equipment, and instruments, as well as studying and interpreting work plans in accordance with engineering, quality, safety, and environmental technical standards and procedures. Assist in the development process of components and accessories, sample assembly on test benches, and instrumentation of such samples.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1\. Assist in preparing and assembling electrical accessories and connectors on umbilical/subsea cables, applying technical processes such as cutting, sanding, adjustments, precision measurements, etc. Assist in performing splices and assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic terminations, using appropriate instruments and tools.
2\. Assist in preparing and assembling accessories on flexible pipes, applying technical processes such as cutting, sanding, welding, precision measurements, etc. Assist in repairing the outer sheath of flexible pipes per engineering instructions and guidance.
3\. Assist in developing new hose and steel pipe end fittings.
4\. Assist in developing splices for components, e.g., LV, MV, and HV electric cables, optical fiber, and hoses.
5\. Assist in installing samples on test benches, e.g., Multi-Function Test Bench, 100T Fatigue Test Bench, 500TON Fatigue Test Bench, etc.
6\. Assist in instrumenting samples for static and dynamic testing.
7\. Observe/adhere to technical standards and procedures, respecting quality, safety, and environmental protection.
8\. Participate in preventive, corrective, and/or emergency maintenance services as required by external customers.
9\. Assist in organizing the local/work area, selecting, arranging, and verifying conformity of materials, tools, instruments, and safety equipment.
10\. Participate in technical training sessions for flexible pipe and umbilical/subsea cable assembly services to support professional development.
11\. Record relevant data and information from performed tasks and incidents in logs and control documents.
12\. Know and understand Prysmian’s HSE policy and procedures;
13\. Comply with applicable legal and company HSE requirements, and those of SGS/SGS, according to your competence and based on received awareness and training;
14\. Protect the environment and report HSE-related incidents and unsafe conditions to your direct supervisor and/or HSE representative.
Who We Are Looking For
EDUCATION:
* Technical education in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Electrotechnical, or related fields.
EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum 12 months of experience working in the flexible pipe industry is required for hiring.
