Job Summary: Professional responsible for creating, updating, and managing item master records in ERP/WMS systems, standardizing descriptions and classifications, and ensuring data integrity. Technical data audits and control **Job Description:** ---------------------- Create, update, and deactivate item master records (materials, raw materials, components, packaging) in the ERP/WMS system according to internal procedures. Standardize item descriptions, nomenclatures, and classifications in accordance with technical standards and company policies. Define and maintain item attributes: unit of measure, internal code, manufacturer code, NCM (Brazilian Tax Classification Code), category, family, and material group. Control and update technical data such as dimensions, weight, volume, packaging, and quantities. Classify materials by category (consumables, fixed assets, raw materials, finished goods, etc.) and ABC curve. Define storage locations and bin positions based on physical characteristics and movement patterns of items. Apply classification methodologies such as FIFO, FEFO, LIFO, and batch/lot management where applicable. Identify and correct duplications, inconsistencies, and errors in existing master records. Conduct periodic audits of the master database to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Generate inconsistency reports and track corrective action plans; respond to new item master creation requests from production/logistics departments. Support the warehouse operations team in clarifying questions related to material codes and information. Validate information for new suppliers and imported items, including fiscal and regulatory data.
