Job Summary: We are seeking a Banking Attorney to provide strategic support in drafting defenses and appeals in mass civil banking litigation, ensuring legal quality and alignment with institutional legal positions. Procedural analysis and formulation of defensive strategies We seek a Banking Attorney to provide strategic support in drafting **defenses, responses, objections, submissions, and appeals** in judicial proceedings involving financial institutions, with emphasis on mass civil banking litigation. The professional will work in a technical and analytical manner, ensuring the legal quality of procedural documents and alignment with institutional legal positions and up-to-date case law. **Main Responsibilities:** * Drafting **responses, rebuttals, objections, and various submissions**; * Preparing **appeals at all judicial levels** (Appeal, Interlocutory Appeal, Internal Appeal, Special Appeal, and Extraordinary Appeal, where applicable); * Procedural analysis and formulation of **defensive strategies**; * Participation in conciliation, evidentiary, and judgment hearings; * Oral argument before courts; * Monitoring case law from State Courts, STJ (Superior Court of Justice), and STF (Supreme Federal Court), applying it to banking legal positions; * Handling cases involving **banking contracts, enforcement proceedings, enforcement of judgments, contract revision claims, indemnity claims, and consumer actions**; * Maintaining and managing legal systems and procedural deadlines; * Liaising with internal departments and institutional clients. **Requirements:** * Law degree and **active OAB registration**; * Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in passive litigation and appeals in **Banking Law, Corporate Law, Civil Law, and Consumer Law**; * Solid experience in drafting **defenses and appeals**; * Knowledge of the **Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure (CPC)** and procedural practices applicable to banking litigation; * Analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to deadlines; * Strong legal writing skills and mastery of technical legal language. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in **mass banking litigation**; * Prior experience handling large case portfolios; * Knowledge of **enforcement proceedings and enforcement of judgments**; * Familiarity with legal performance indicators (SLA, productivity, appellate success rate); * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Corporate Law, Banking Law, or Civil Law; * Knowledge of CPJ (Civil Procedure Code) **Behavioral Profile:** * Analytical and strategic mindset; * Ability to manage high-volume workloads; * Proactivity and strong sense of responsibility; * Commitment to technical quality and results. **Additional Information** * Fees negotiable; * Office facilities include relaxation areas, convenience store, and kitchen; * Hybrid work arrangement Interested candidates should send their resumes to jaqueline.cunha@limacabral.adv.br, with the subject line "Banking Litigation Attorney" Position Type: Freelance / PJ Contract Duration: 180 months Compensation: R$3\.500,00 \- R$4\.000,00 per month Benefits: * Life insurance * Meal allowance Work Location: Hybrid remote work based in Curitiba, PR
