Operations Analyst I

Description

Job Summary: Support the coordination and provide technical assistance for operations and maintenance of sanitary landfills, water and sewage systems, and urban cleaning services. Key Highlights: 1. Technical support for landfill operations and maintenance and sanitation 2. Development of plans, projects, and technical studies 3. Assistance with environmental licensing and procurement management Support the manager in coordinating and providing technical assistance for operations and maintenance of sanitary landfills, water supply systems, sewage collection and treatment, and urban cleaning services. * Operation and maintenance of sanitary landfills, health service waste treatment and final disposal units, and leachate treatment system units; * Operation and maintenance of water intake, treatment, supply, and distribution systems; * Operation and maintenance of sewage collection and treatment systems; * Operation and maintenance of solid waste collection services, including common, recyclable, special, and health service wastes; * Operation and maintenance of general cleaning services, including manual and/or mechanical street sweeping, mechanical weed control, mechanical catch basin cleaning, curb painting, and plaza and beach cleaning; * Prepare work plans, executive projects, and technical studies related to provided services or new services; * Prepare technical drawings and maps using drawing software (AutoCAD); * Assist in activities of the Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Waste Treatment, Sanitary Landfill, Urban Cleaning, or Sanitation Departments; * Prepare, under the guidance of the Technical Manager, environmental licensing processes for urban cleaning and sanitation activities with municipal, state, and federal licensing authorities; * Prepare purchase requests, verify and classify invoices for operational supplies and services. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Desired Qualifications: * Civil Engineering, Bachelor's Degree * Environmental Engineering, Bachelor's Degree Personal vehicle Willingness to travel
