Job Summary: Professional to assist boiler welders in the assembly and finishing of parts, operating machines and tools, performing maintenance and inspections. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in improvement projects Description: * Completed elementary education * Experience as an assistant in metallurgical production departments * Knowledge of manual grinder operation * Perform MPO (Machine Preventive Operation) on equipment, inspecting components daily and arranging corrective maintenance requests when necessary, ensuring equipment remains fully operational. * Comply with work rules and procedures * Assist the Boiler Welder in assembling manufactured parts, performing possible cuts and grinding on parts to be manufactured, and manual plasma cutting. When required, perform preheating and material cutting using a torch, adhering to welding standards, following manufacturing procedures and instructions from the Production Supervisor and/or Boiler Welder. * Assist machine operators: rolling mill, CNC cutting machine, bending machine, guillotine shear, drilling machine, saw cutting, following manufacturing procedures and instructions from the Production Supervisor and/or Machine Operators. * Perform grinding and finishing of manufactured parts using manual grinders. Carry out cutting using grinders, polycutters, saws, and manual plasma cutters. Perform drilling on parts using manual or bench drilling machines. Conduct intermediate and/or final inspections, recording performed services on the form (when applicable) to maintain updated production controls. * Log working hours, machine downtime, materials used, and defects identified, to ensure equipment and machines remain fully operational and guarantee data accuracy. * Maintain responsibility for assigned tools, using and storing them appropriately to preserve assets and comply with the 5S philosophy. * Participate in improvement project implementation, suggesting and contributing toward improving working conditions, productivity, and cost reduction, and acting preventively. * Comply with occupational safety regulations as well as integrated quality management procedures, aiming to ensure employees' physical integrity. * Adhere to established organization and cleanliness standards. 2512100202181911797
