Job Summary: Install, maintain, and test industrial piping systems and accessories, ensuring system integrity in full compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Key Highlights: 1. Technical interpretation of piping and isometric drawings. 2. Assembly and replacement of valves, flanges, and other accessories. 3. Proven experience in industrial plants. **Purpose of the Role** * Install, maintain, repair, and test industrial piping systems and their accessories (valves, fittings, * supports), ensuring the integrity of fluid and gas conveyance systems, fully compliant with * safety, quality, and environmental (SMS) standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret piping plans, isometric drawings, and engineering flow diagrams. * Preparation and Cutting: Measure, cut, grind, and bevel pipes made of various materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, * special alloys) using hand and power tools. * Assembly and Alignment: Position and align piping and components for welding or threading, ensuring correct slope and alignment per design specifications. * Installation of Accessories: Assemble and replace valves, flanges, gaskets, steam traps, and filters. * Leak Testing: Prepare and supervise hydrostatic and pneumatic tests to detect leaks. * Piping Support: Fabricate and install metallic pipe supports. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Education: Completed high school. Technical or vocational training in Industrial Plumbing is preferred. **Experience:** Proven work experience documented in employment record (CTPS) within industrial plants. **Mandatory Knowledge:** * Technical calculation and metrology (tape measure, calipers, etc). * Reading of isometric drawings. * Knowledge of connection types and sealing standards. * Training in NR-33 (Confined Space) and NR-35 (Work at Height). **Desirable Qualifications:** * Basic welding knowledge (for tack welding). ***Desired Skills (Soft Skills)*** * Meticulous attention to detail (critical to prevent leaks). * Ability to work under pressure (especially during maintenance shutdowns). * Discipline in completing service orders.
