What is the position?
Junior Technical and Teaching Staff (Monthly Contract) (Mechanics) \- RP 18300
What are the challenges and main responsibilities?
Deliver classes for the 5th Itinerary \- SEED Partnership in the field of mechanics;
Develop the pedagogical process planning;
Disseminate, guide, and monitor institutional rules, procedures, and policies to students;
Maintain collaboration with other knowledge areas and teaching technicians;
Facilitate events and activities that promote knowledge dissemination and human capital development;
Participate in pedagogical meetings and class councils;
Participate in the development of new educational projects within the area of expertise;
Organize technical visits to companies;
Perform maintenance and conservation of equipment under your responsibility and of the unit, when requested;
Assist in developing the academic calendar and course scheduling;
And other duties pertinent to the role.
**Requirements:**
What are the main requirements?
Completed undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; OR completed undergraduate degree in other fields combined with a Technical Course in Mechanics, Electromechanics, etc.
Practical knowledge in mechanical maintenance, machining, and welding;
Proficiency in 3D design software (Inventor and SolidWorks);
Driver's License Category B \- valid;
Willingness to travel within the region;
Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency;
Teaching or training experience is desirable.
For internal candidates, eligibility criteria per PL 0031 (4\.2\.3\) must be met;

**Working Hours:** 08:30–13:00 and 14:30–18:00 (Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week
In cases of reassignment, alternative working hours may be considered at the discretion and acceptance of the approved candidate.
**Employment Type:** Indefinite-term CLT contract
