Boilermaker **Date:** May 20, 2026 **Location:** Rio de Janeiro **Company:** Ternium **Job Description:** * Comply with, promote, and ensure adherence to **safety, environmental, and occupational health standards and procedures**, as well as work instructions, guaranteeing individual and collective safety and well-being. Perform **reading and interpretation of technical drawings**, as well as **field surveys**, preparing **sketches** when necessary. Carry out **measurements, markings, and layout work** on sheets, pipes, and metallic components, using measuring instruments such as rulers, squares, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, protractors, scribers, punches, and other applicable tools. Complete **tool and equipment checklists**, ensuring workplace organization and proper identification of defective or unsuitable tools. Provide **technical support to internal and/or external customers and suppliers**, in accordance with current technical guidelines, standards, and procedures of the relevant area. Prepare **equipment, accessories, cutting consumables, and parts** to be processed, ensuring appropriate conditions for performing tasks. Perform **grinding, drilling, cutting, grinding-down, bending, fitting, and finishing** operations on metallic parts and structures. Carry out **assembly and disassembly**, alignment, squaring, and **repair of metallic parts and structures**. Perform **thermal and mechanical cutting** operations, using **Oxy-fuel cutting**, **Oxy-flame**, **Plasma**, **gouging**, and **abrasive cutting machines**. Operate **mobile and lifting equipment**, such as aerial work platforms, overhead cranes, and maintenance hoists, in compliance with operator qualifications and safety regulations. Perform **hot straightening** on metallic structures and components. Carry out activities related to **welding preparation**, in accordance with established procedures. Identify service requirements and **request materials, parts, tools, and equipment**, ensuring essential resources are available for correct task execution. Actively contribute to implementing the **5S methodology**, promoting practices of Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in the workplace.
