Did you know that **we are one of the largest groups in Brazil’s electricity sector?** With 120 years of history, we are an **ecosystem** of products and services focused on leading the energy transition — connecting people and businesses to the best energy solutions and building a more sustainable world. We operate in 977 municipalities across all regions of Brazil, delivering energy to over 20 million people.
Our most visible work is electricity distribution, but we offer much more. In addition to our 9 electricity distribution companies and 13 transmission concessions, we operate a centralized photovoltaic generation plant and one of the country’s largest distributed photovoltaic generation parks, under our innovative brand (re)energisa. We also operate in the Free Energy Market, offering value-added solutions to our customers.
Moreover, we have diversified our portfolio with natural gas distribution and trading, following the acquisition of ES Gás, and, since November 2024, through participation in the assets of Cegás, Copergás, Algás, and Potigás. We are also investing in bio-solutions generation, distribution, and trading — such as biogas, biomethane, and biofertilizer — through Agric.
Our **mission** is to transform energy into comfort, development, and new possibilities — sustainably. To achieve this, we rely on approximately 17,000 employees who make a difference every day.
You, too, can be part of this transformation story.
Let’s build a more sustainable world — together?
