Act proactively to prevent supply disruptions and delays Curitiba, Brazil Permanent 80\-100% On-site This is where you will shine * Lead quotation, negotiation, and order closure processes for agricultural and food sector machine components; * Issue purchase orders, ensure internal approvals, and monitor fulfillment of production and engineering requirements; * Identify and develop domestic and international suppliers; * Evaluate technical capability, quality, delivery lead time, and supply stability; * Maintain up-to-date supplier records, seeking more competitive, reliable, and sustainable alternatives; * Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and logistics to ensure optimal total cost; * Support analysis of technical drawings, material specifications, and requirements jointly with Engineering and Quality; * Lead or support supply contracts and long-term agreements; * Monitor the full order lifecycle: confirmation, production, inspection (where applicable), shipment, and delivery; * Act proactively to prevent supply disruptions, production stoppages, and project delays; * Resolve discrepancies related to quantity, quality, pricing, and documentation with suppliers; * Interact with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers; * Monitor import processes in partnership with the International Trade/Logistics team; * Assess feasibility of importing versus local procurement, considering total cost, lead time, and risks; * Conduct material cost analysis; * Monitor KPIs such as savings, lead time, and supplier performance, among others; * Support cost reduction initiatives and component standardization; * Comply with internal policies, quality standards, legal requirements, and safety regulations; * Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes. These are the skills you will need * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related fields), International Trade, or related disciplines; * Prior experience in industrial procurement of machine components, preferably within food or agricultural machinery industries; * Experience in domestic and international procurement; * Theoretical knowledge of basic technical drawing interpretation and material specifications; * Knowledge of international trade; * Proficiency in ERP / procurement systems; * Intermediate Excel skills for cost analysis and reporting; * Intermediate/advanced English for negotiations, emails, and conversations; * Experience in machinery manufacturing, industrial equipment, or metalworking industries (Preferred); * Experience in developing new international suppliers (Preferred); * Power BI knowledge (Preferred).
